Why Teams Move from HubSpot to monday.com

Moving to monday.com doesn’t have to mean leaving HubSpot’s marketing tools: the aim is sales and the work that follows a closed deal in one place. In monday.com the deal, the onboarding project and the delivery board can sit side by side and link to each other, and your own team can change boards and automations without a developer.

If you are new to the platform, start with what monday.com is and the monday.com pricing guide. Our monday.com integration services cover the tools that need to stay connected.

What Moves, What We Rebuild, What Cannot Move

HubSpot exports records with their property values and associations. Activities come from its API, and workflows can only be exported as a summary or a picture, so they are rebuilt.

How the Migration Runs

Every step is agreed with you before the next one starts.
  1. 01

    Free assessment

    Duration: Free

We look at your objects, properties, associations, activity volume and workflows, and send a fixed quote with the list of what moves, what we rebuild and what cannot move.

  2. 02

    Data map

    Duration: Before any data moves

Each object becomes a board and each property a column of the right type. You decide which old properties to leave behind.

  3. 03

    Test migration

    Duration: On a sample first

We move a sample of companies with their contacts, deals and activity history, and you check them in monday.com.

  4. 04

    Full migration and rebuild

Duration: Dates fixed in your quote

We export every object, read the activities from HubSpot’s API, load and link everything, and rebuild your workflows and reports.

  5. 05

    Checks and handover

Duration: Before you cancel HubSpot seats

We compare record counts object by object, walk your team through the new boards, and hand over the export files.

When to Keep HubSpot

monday.com is not a marketing automation platform. Keep HubSpot, or keep part of it, if:

  • Marketing email, landing pages and forms drive your pipeline. You can keep HubSpot Marketing Hub and move only sales and service.
  • You rely on HubSpot sequences and inbox tools and are not ready to change how reps work.
  • Your email history must stay in one timeline. monday.com’s Emails & Activities shows only emails from after it is set up, so older emails arrive as updates on each record.

Other CRMs in the company? We also migrate from Pipedrive to monday.com and run a Zoho CRM to monday.com migration. Every source is on our data migration services page.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can’t we use the monday.com HubSpot integration?

It syncs contacts, companies and deals, but after an item is created only its default fields keep syncing, and it is not available on monday.com’s AU server. It does not bring over notes, emails, calls or files, so it suits a team running both tools side by side rather than a full move.

Do emails logged in HubSpot come over?

Yes, as updates on the matching contact or deal, with their dates. They do not appear in monday.com’s Emails & Activities timeline, which starts from the day it is connected.

Can we keep HubSpot for marketing and move only sales?

Yes. We move the sales and service records and connect the two tools so new leads still reach monday.com.

How much does it cost?

It depends on your objects, record and activity counts and workflows. The assessment is free and ends with a fixed quote.
